Mandy graduated from the University of Sydney in 2005 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy). She is the Senior Occupational Therapist and the Director of completeOT Pty Ltd, bringing over 20 years of clinical experience to her specialised work with children, adolescents, and adults living with complex physical disabilities. Mandy has dedicated her career to supporting clients with spinal cord injuries, progressive neuromuscular conditions, cerebral palsy, juvenile arthritis, and other rare or degenerative disorders.

Mandy’s extensive clinical experience in physical disabilites is matched by her skill in navigating complex systems, including the NDIS, iCare Lifetime Care and Support Scheme, and private funding models.

Mandy’s career began working with adults with complex physical disabilities, including with the spinal injuries unit in NSW Health. She has had the opportunity to work in a range of roles, including acute, rehabilitation, and community settings with NSW Health. Mandy also spent several years providing services to children and adolescents with spinal cord injuries through the NSW Paediatric Spinal Outreach service and the School Therapy Team.

Mandy provides occupational therapy and case management services across the lifespan, with a strong focus on functional, real-world outcomes. Her clinical work includes assistive technology prescription, school access assessments, fatigue and energy management, and minor home and vehicle modifications. She is known for her calm, compassionate approach, her collaborative work with multidisciplinary teams, and her advocacy for inclusive participation in school, home, and community life.

In addition to her clinical work, Mandy has presented at national and international conferences, contributed to peer-reviewed publications, and volunteered in Southeast Asia to help establish disability services in rural areas.

Outside of work, Mandy enjoys the outdoors, playing piano, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is passionate about delivering care that creates lasting impact — helping clients achieve not only independence, but confidence and dignity at every stage of life.
